Jodi Doidge is a creative enterprise, a vocal songbird and a musical maven. Her voice sounds like Dolly Parton and Leslie Feist created a love child. Jodi sings her own lyrics and music in a distinctly unique alt/pop/country style. Singing about love, relationships, transformation and etheric feelings she has the ability to transport you from your seat and into her heart. Jodi has toured extensively throughout British Columbia and Alberta, attracting devoted fans who have been eagerly snapping up copies of her debut EP, Little Love Songs. Jodi recorded her EP with acclaimed Vancouver Producer Winston Hauschild who has also produced Wanting Qu and Hannah Georgas. A standout emerging artist she has most recently been nominated in the top 6 for the *ATB Financial All Albertan Songwriting Contest and has been selected to participate in the Banff Centre’s Source & Inspiration Residency program, taking place during fall 2014. Jodi has a desire to expand, the gumption to follow her heart and the vulnerability in her musical ability to make it happen. She writes about Universal laws and truths in a poetic manner, allowing audiences to enjoy not only the sweet melodies but also absorb her synthesized cosmic wisdom. Currently residing in Banff, Alberta Jodi is a gypsy, often found on self-promoted tours, living out of her vehicle and friend’s guest rooms. She is the real deal: an authentic artist and creative spirit who leaves a wake of light in her trail--follow Jodi on social media and watch her story unfold.
