Performing at Safford Park

Location

Stage Setup Options

There are two standard options for setting up your performance (see photo below):

1. On the platform at the stairs - this space is ~ 15’ x 20’ asphalt slab surface and gets shade from ~6 pm - 8 pm.

2. Near the retaining wall - this space is a grassy surface and gets shade from morning until 5 pm.

Power

Power is available (1 x 20 AMP single gang outlet) at the base of the retaining wall.

Shelter

This is an outdoor venue whose availability is subject to Quincy Park Department's permitted use with no shelter from rain or other inclement weather conditions.

PA System

This venue does not have its own PA system. Unless you arrange otherwise, please expect to bring your own PA system and extension cords/power strips/table surface.

Access to the Park

You may drive your vehicle onto the park surface to drop off and pick up equipment as needed, but please be careful of event attendees and coordinate your vehicle move with an event manager.

Parking

There is only on-street parking near the park.
